Scientific Experiences in Applied Technology (SEAT) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by AIS Indonesia in collaboration with the Center of Energy for Society and Industry (CESI), Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (UNIMMA), Indonesia. First published in 2027, SEAT is issued twice a year, in January and June, in online (electronic) format, and all articles are freely accessible under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License. SEAT publishes original research on the design, development, testing, and implementation of applied technology and engineering solutions. The journal focuses on applied science, engineering, and technology. It emphasizes engineering work that goes from problem identification and technical design to prototype fabrication, performance evaluation, and implementation in real operating environments such as small and medium enterprises (SMEs), industry, and local production facilities. By documenting engineering experience together with measurable technical performance, SEAT provides a platform for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to share applied technology solutions that are reproducible and transferable.
