About the Journal
Scientific Experiences in Energy and Thermal Engineering (SEETE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal published by AIS Indonesia in collaboration with the Center of Energy for Society and Industry (CESI), Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (UNIMMA). The journal is published twice a year, in January and June, and provides a platform for researchers, academics, engineers, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate high-quality research and innovative developments in energy and thermal engineering.
SEETE is dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of thermal sciences, energy conversion, energy systems, and thermal management. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, technical notes, and case studies that contribute to scientific understanding, technological innovation, and practical engineering applications.
The journal covers a broad range of topics, including heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, thermofluids, energy conversion and storage systems, renewable and sustainable energy technologies, thermal management of microelectronics and batteries, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R), waste heat recovery, combustion and combustion dynamics, numerical modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), energy efficiency, and sustainable energy applications in industry and society.
SEETE particularly welcomes research that addresses emerging energy challenges, technological transitions, and the development of efficient and sustainable thermal systems. Contributions that integrate experimental investigation, numerical simulation, theoretical analysis, system development, techno-economic assessment, and real-world engineering applications are encouraged.
SEETE aims to bridge scientific discoveries with practical engineering solutions that contribute to the global energy transition, industrial sustainability, energy efficiency, and societal development. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that connects energy and thermal engineering with environmental sustainability, technological innovation, industrial applications, and the needs of society.
Through its open-access online publishing model, SEETE seeks to facilitate the rapid and broad dissemination of scientific knowledge and promote collaboration among researchers and practitioners across disciplines and geographical boundaries. The journal is committed to maintaining rigorous peer review, academic integrity, research quality, and responsible scholarly communication.
SEETE welcomes original contributions that provide new scientific evidence, innovative technologies, advanced methodologies, critical reviews, and practical engineering solutions addressing contemporary challenges in energy and thermal engineering.
