About the Journal
Scientific Experiences in Business and Entrepreneurship (SEBE) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by AIS Indonesia in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang (UNIMMA). The journal is published twice a year, in January and June, and provides an international platform for researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, practitioners, policymakers, and development professionals to share rigorous research and meaningful experiences in business and entrepreneurship.
SEBE publishes evidence-based research, documented business experiences, entrepreneurial innovations, and development interventions that generate measurable outcomes, practical insights, and transferable knowledge. The journal encourages contributions that not only advance theoretical understanding but also demonstrate how knowledge can be applied to address real-world business and entrepreneurial challenges.
The journal covers a broad range of topics, including business management, entrepreneurship, innovation and technology, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), digital business, sustainable entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems, business development, strategic management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship education. SEBE particularly welcomes studies that connect academic inquiry with practical applications, emerging business models, technological transformation, inclusive economic development, and sustainability.
SEBE aims to bridge scientific inquiry and real-world practice by promoting research that is relevant, reproducible, and applicable across different organizational and socioeconomic contexts. Contributions may employ quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, case study, action research, design-based, or other appropriate research approaches, provided that the methodology is clearly justified and the findings offer substantive contributions to knowledge or practice.
Through its open-access publishing model, SEBE seeks to make scholarly knowledge widely accessible and encourage the exchange of ideas across geographical and disciplinary boundaries. The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, rigorous peer review, transparency, and responsible scholarly communication.
SEBE welcomes original contributions that provide new evidence, critical insights, innovative approaches, documented experiences, or practical solutions relevant to business and entrepreneurship. By bringing together scientific perspectives and entrepreneurial practice, SEBE seeks to contribute to the development of more innovative, resilient, inclusive, and sustainable businesses and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
